Is it alright to do tutorial 1 (12pm-1pm) before I do lecture 2 (1:15pm-2:15pm) for QM1? Is it also possible for me to get to Alan Gilbert 101 to Old Arts-122(PLT) within the 15 minutes? Thanks
1. Yes.
2. I'd be surprised if you couldn't make it in 5 minutes.

The furthest I had to walk in between classes was a lecture at Laby theatre in Physics building(North-east) to a lecture at Copland theatre at the Spot(South west.) As far as distance is concerned, I doubt it gets any further than that and it took me only 10 minutes to walk it. So distance shouldn't be a reason why you have gaps in between classes.  :)

You should easily be able to make it between Alan Gilbert and Old Arts in 15 minutes.

How do the staff feel about being 5 minutes late to class because all of my classes before 2pm all start and end at the same time meaning one class would end at 12 and another would start at 12. I really don't want an hour break between each class

All classes finish 5 minutes early and start 5 minutes late. A 12-1 class will start at 12:05 and end at 12:55.

Are you guys checking out the timetable for each subject seperately and then putting it all together on paper, or is there a program/website that does it for you?  ???

Separately and then putting it together, I don't think there's a program that does it for you.

Yep, you'll have to walk briskly but it's possible (I've done it.)

In my first semester i had a lecture in the sydney myer asia centre followed directly by a lecture in the law building, it is possible if you walk fast  :)

Thanks so much guys :) :)

Could someone tell me what the 'breakout' sessions with no description are?

https://sws.unimelb.edu.au/2015/Reports/List.aspx?objects=COMP10001&weeks=1-52&days=1-7&periods=1-56&template=module_by_group_list

Just an extra space booked by the coordinator for the subject, might be to hold a consult or something. It won't show up when you do timetabling so no need to worry about it.

Does anyone know where I would find timetables for new subjects?
One of my subjects is new, it has a handbook entry but when I click on the timetable info it is blank.
