Same situation re: Disney club :(
Laser tag on Tuesday :P Rock up at the door :) To be fair, I'm obsessed with Pixar > Disney but albeit enough to join :D
Clubs you couldn't find probably didn't have a stall on clubs day. Some don't have enough resources to justify a stall on every day of orientation events. you can join still, there's no deadline. either go to one of their events and say you want to join or try emailing or contacting them via Facebook if they have either of those.
Cheers mate. Great news.

You can email the club. Committee members should be regularly checking their emails (and if they aren't, they're not doing their job).

To find the email, just look-up the club here.

EDIT: Oh oops I just realised Phy said exactly the same thing just above. My bad. :P

Clubs you couldn't find probably didn't have a stall on clubs day. Some don't have enough resources to justify a stall on every day of orientation events.
Actually, if clubs signed up for an O-Week stall, they were required to be there every day. There is an incredibly hefty no-show fee. Clubs Day bookings were separate, though about 70/110 clubs were there.

Jaffy …

WTF are readings? I know I'm meant to be reading these readings before classes and I suspect they are on the Moodle but I've just got no clue what they are and how I find them? Are they like something you read before class or a lecture so you are privy to what you're  about to be learning before you learn it? If so, that'd explain a lot of my confusion over the past two weeks.

Well I don't know what course you're doing, but my experience has been that lecturers go to lengths to communicate where your readings are available. You might have a unit reader, which you can pick up from the bookstore, or the readings might be attached as PDFs to each different week on moodle, or the coordinator might have posted a link to a library reading list in the news forum. If you absolutely can't find the readings, email your tutor.

Lectures don't tend to assume you've done the readings, if anything they synopsise them and explain things from them. Tutes will assume this, however, so it's vital you've done your readings before attending a tute.

Your best bet is always to look up your degree in the handbook. Since it's a double degree, it tells you to look at the BA handbook entry for details on that side of your degree. The latter tells you:
Quote
All single and double degree students must complete the following:

(A.) core arts* studies (96 points) comprising:

(1.) an arts major (48 points)

(2.) an arts minor in a different area of study (24 points)

(3.) a further four arts elective units (24 points): these must be units offered by the Faculty of Arts

The links for what constitutes a major or minor in each area of study are also there.
