I would say that 16 hours a day on the long weekend prior to triple SAC week is reasonable, especially if you fell short of your goals for your last SAC. It wouldn't be like I just study and sleep everyday for the rest of year 12, but for me, the cram before the assessment always has the greatest impact on my results.
True dat, cramming is the most effective mark-getting high-SAC-ranking technique I know of

though it can result in exam flop. But I'd still question spending that much time to prepare for SACs - are your study techniques efficient/effective? Since quality > quantity, always. (I probably did about 1/4 of that

... not that I ever had the goal, or ability, to get 99.90).
Be a psychology experiment for us all by trying this during term 1 holidays (it's early in the year so a disaster won't be the end of the world) but play it safe and normal once you get to swotvac... not a psychologist, but I believe we were made to sleep at night and stay awake in the day, so I don't know what it would do to you (except ensure that you 'bust' on Dec 15th

).
It's irrelevant anyway, no one could possibly have the willpower to maintain such a rigorous schedule.
Except that I don't have anything to study, I'm almost tempted to take up the challenge
