Hi,
A friend and I was thinking of joining breakthrough for english classes but the fee is really expensive and we want to know if it's worth it!

Would really appreciate if anyone could share their experience ;w;

Hey tempurapapi
An alternative option is Connect Classes. It is run by Connect Education and is wonderful. They run classes on all subjects and they come with weekly notes and a lecture for mid year. They are run by top students who scored well, can teach and are recommended by Monash. In comparison to breakthrough education, they are quite cheap, as it is 559 for 11 weeks of 2 hours classes.
If you use the code richard, you can get a 10% discount.
It comes out to about 22 an hour, and it comes with excellent notes

Here is the link for English if you are interested
https://www.connecteducation.com.au/subjects/englishlanguage#classes

If you make a booking, I can ask for it to be fast tracked so that you can attend the class on Sunday
Cheers
Will be offering Further Mathematics tuition for 2016
Dux of Further Mathematics: 50 for Further Mathematics
Mail me if interested.

Also, tutoring for Physics (44), and Methods (44). Low Hourly rates. =)

How would these classes/or other company classes compare against a private tutor? Are there any distinct advantages over one or the other?
