Hint: The key to success is practice, and more practice, good notes, time management, prepping for things before time!
(and cramming)

You guys will be fine! Really :) And stay on top of your work, if you don't get something, ask straight away. Everyone says this, because nobody does this. And if one person is struggling, remember others will be as well, and you aren't alone.

You know they are planning to have a presentations night (similar to the semester science fairs) next year for Learn To so students take it seriously...

well, they're considering to anyway.

You will learn... what it is. lol

Seriously though, a year spent doing a project, which everyone (who's keen - a lot of kids in our yr level) does at the end of the year, and get's done in 20 minutes.

Yes at times. It's best to stay on top of your workload, as it can get quite intense throughout the year!
2013: John Monash Science School - 05/09/13
2015: Mathematical Methods (CAS)
2016: English | Chemistry | Specialist Mathematics | Biology | MUEP - Mathematics
2017: Bachelor of Biomedical Science and Bachelor of Commerce
2019: Bachelor of Medical Studies and Doctor of Medicine

It's like a week or two of nothing out of the ordinary due, then a week or two of intense: everything. is. due. Especially in term 3, and 4. The cycle repeats, and repeats. Don't fall behind in work.

Also newbies, whatever you do, do not start playing clash of clans or any other time-based games. It seems as if lots of year 10s (and even some year 11s) play it and since you have an ipad in class you'll be tempted to constantly check on it. Really really bad for concentrating in class.

I speak from personal experience here :P

What do we do on camp and do we get our own rooms or do we have to share? Also what do we bring?
You'll find out more on the day but if it's anything like what I went through back in 2013 (and 2014) then it's essentially lots of activities to get to know your cohort as well as being instilled with the 'JMSS way' too! You'll also get your own rooms (provided its at the same location as in previous years) and just standard things you'd bring to camp should be fine (I'd skip out on bringing extra food since you'll be fed enough).

How did you miss it? And it was a good day but nothing thaaaaaaaat important. I have two friends who were unfortunately overseas during it so no worries. I think the camp will be the real important one!

I missed it because of the Great Victorian Bike Ride.
What was important about camp and what you guys do?
