Hi guys,

Just a quick question because I couldn't really find anything online. Are students who are studying a post-graduate degree entitled to any extra benefits at all?

Honours is covered by youth allowance.

*Certain* post graduate degrees are covered for AusStudy. They are mostly direct to professional entry degrees (masters of accounting, dentistry, vetinary medicine, etc things like that).

If you want to jump right to the punch here is a list - https://www.dss.gov.au/sites/default/files/documents/03_2015/f2015l00318_attachment_a.pdf

The degree I am studying falls under the category, but unfortunately the applicants must be 25 or older.

You may also be eligible for youth allowance etc. I shouldn't have mentioned AusStudy only. That seems to be wrong, the pages there seem to indicate they apply to all payments.
