Difference between BCom and Bcom(Acc&Fin)

In my first year of Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance). Was just wondering what the difference was between regular commerce and commerce with pre set accounting and finance majors.

I'm pretty sure a normal commerce student could just choose to do a double major in accounting and finance, so why make a separate course with a different atar? Is their something special about my course?
