for undergrad finance major, i know if you graduate with credit average the degree is still worth it but hypothetically let's say you're getting some fails and when you graduate you get pass average? in this situation, would your degree still have any worth? would you be more employable than someone who had no degree?

are there any situations where your marks are so low that it's better in the long-run to cut your losses by transferring/discontinuing your degree? If so, what is this exact point exactly? In australia, how low of grades in uni can you get and still be employable? what is the bare minimum to be employable? is it really just about graduating? is that the minimum? has anyone here ever heard of pass average student finding work after graduation in a field relevant to their uni studies?
