Pattern questions for the most part harder than anything I had practised before. Had to give an educated guess for a fair few.

That was my main issue. A few other questions from each section were challenging too - particularly the circuit question.

I'm pretty nervous about how I went. Did heaps of prep and was hoping to blitz it, since I know my ATAR won't be high (as in like 98+ high), but not a confident as I'd like to be.
2014 : Greek - 37 raw
2015 : English (48+), Maths Methods (40+), Chemistry (40+), Economics (45+), Legal Studies (40+)

ATAR Goal : 98.00

I didn't find the circuit question as hard as everyone was making it out to be, (except for the number of possible combinations, I didn't have time to run through them all).

I do agree with section 3 being considerably harder than what was expected, some of the patters were relatively simple to find the pattern, others made no sense whatsoever. Section 1 and 2 (bar a handful of questions) were roughly what I expected, some hard, some easy, some in between.

Time was a big constraint though, I ended up making educated guesses (narrowing it down to a 1/2 or a 1/3 chance) for about 15-20 questions, but we'll see how we all go soon!

I tried my absolute hardest, if I do well, then it's meant to be; if I do bad, then there's always other pathways to get in!

The questions regarding the days of a year in a leap year and the one about naming all the chemicals were soul crushing though, I had no idea how to do it, nothing I did seemed to work for either of those questions. I narrowed it down a bit, but there wasn't much more that I could do.  :-\

Just out of curiosity, What on earth did you have to do for that Team home and away question?
I was only able to briefly skim through it, and ended up guessing the entire question

^If it's anything like the GAMSAT, ACER will slip in some trial questions in the UMAT too and these are the questions that aren't on everybody's booklets. Everyone should get a different booklet so they get different trial questions. Quite possible that the home and away question is a trial.

Ah I've heard of those, apparently they aren't scored

Btw did anyone recognise one of the S3 questions (it looked like a flower) and a S2 cartoon (about the restaurant) from the MedEntry drills?!?!

Probably the only ones I know I got right lol...
Either way I'm not asking questions haha

If it's a trial question then it's a good thing I didn't spend time on it... isn't it?

No one really knows if they're scored or not, the hearsay is that they aren't but no one can say for sure.
