Is Studio Arts Hard??

Hi,
I am deciding what subjects I should do next year for year 12 and I thought about doing Studio Arts. I was just wondering whats the difference between Art and Studio Arts, is Studio Arts difficult and would I be at a disadvantage if I haven't done year 11 Studio Arts and Art in general in lower years. Other information about the subject would be helpful too.

Thank you.

Just some pointers (I don't actually know the courses, sorry): go to the VCAA Art index and the VCAA Studio Arts index - you can read the study designs, but it might be simpler to read the Study Summaries, which is the bottom document under 'Curriculum' in each page.  Also, in the Studio Arts index, the bottom document under 'Support Materials' should be a document on the differences between them.  Also see http://wiki.engageeducation.org.au/studio-arts/ for more info on SA.

Also re viscom, read Picking up unit 3 & 4?  without unit 1 and 2??.
