Is a double degree in commerce (accounting) & I.T. worth it?

Is it worth the extra year to pursue a double degree in Commerce (Accounting) and Business Information Technology in Monash University? Will the Business I.T. help with my Accounting career? I heard that Monash provides Industry Based Learning (I.B.L.).

This route takes 4 yrs full time

OR

Should I just do a single bachelor in commerce, but major in Accounting and Finance in Monash which takes 3 yrs full time?

Will the extra year, pursuing the IT bachelor be worth it, taking account extra tutition and 1 yrs loss of income?
