Hi all,

Just wondering if any of you who are currently enrolled in music composition are willing to help me out with a few questions regarding the folio/interview etc.

1. What kinds of pieces did you include in your folio?
2. What skills and techniques did you include?
3. What level of skill is required for the course?
4. How have you found music at Monash?
5. What does the aural testing (in the interviews) involve?

On facebook there's a group called "Monash Stalkerspace". Don't let the name put you off, it's mostly people posting funny things they notice around campus or from the uni.

If you get no responses here you could join that group (its got thousands of members) and ask there. Someone will know. I wouldn't absolutely clog it up with questions though cause that's not what it's really about so only do it if you're desperate.

For some of those other questions, you could email the music faculty and they'll probably help you out.
