hey guys, I just want to confirm the following terms:
-heat of reaction
-heat of comubustion

Can someone please identify these in the following formulae:

E(released/absorbed) = Calibration Factor x Change in temperature

E(released/absorbed) = (Change in H / coefficient of equation) x no (no. of moles)

Specific Heat Capacity
E(J) = m x c Change in temp

I get confused between these two terms when they appear in questions  ???

Thanks =]

alright think of it like this: heat of combustion means that the heat given/taken is literally per mole of substance present. Whereas, heat of reaction or delta H is the heat given or taken according to the equation.

so heat of reaction is delta H?
and heat of combustion is the E?
