Tutoring 2008 - Information Technology: Applications and Software Development

I am offering to take on a few students for tutoring in 2008 in both IT subjects (IT:A and SD) in the Eastern/South-Eastern suburbs.

I will be offering remedial tutoring to students finding certain areas in study difficult only. This means that tutoring will be rather ad hoc and only on an as-needs basis, as there is no real way to 'accelerate' VCE IT due to the nature of the study's variability between schools. In regards to Software Development, I will only be able to help you if your school is teaching either VB.net (or derivatives), Java or PHP. I may be able to cater for you if you do another language, but please be aware that I will be learning the language as I go (albeit with a programming background).

I graduated from Melbourne High School in 2006 where I received study scores of 43 for Information Systems and 45 for Information Processing and Management (the predecessors of SD and IT:A respectively). I also have approximately 3 years of various paid and unpaid work experience in the IT industry.

I am located in the Dandenong area, and will travel to the student's home. I charge $25-30/hr, depending on your location relative to mine.
