I am currently in year 11 and was looking to get through a fair amount of the Chem 3/4 course over the holidays. I was just wondering which are the best resources that I should get in terms of helping me for sacs, exams, and understanding the concepts.

I really like the ExamPro Study Guide for Chemistry. It contains heaps of practice questions, brilliantly detailed solutions and organises the content of the course really well. Also, for nice, simple explanations of the course concepts try A+ Notes. Lastly, I've heard Lisachem has plenty of good Chemistry questions, but I've not tried them for myself. As for initially learning the content over the holidays though, I'd honestly just recommend reading your textbook and doing the basic questions provided within that to get you started first.

Checkpoint books are great as they contain tons of questions.  If you are looking at going over the course form scratch youtube can give you a fair understanding of content.

The chemisode youtube clips give you a good overview of the content and they have an ipad apps which have flashcards for quick revision. So check that out. You can see all the videos and stuff at http://www.chemisode.com.

In addition to what Jyce and 99atar have said, the most valuable resource for me this year was Edrolo. It is excellent. There are over 600 videos covering the course that are presented in a relatively engaging manner with related VCAA questions. chemguide.co.uk is also a website that I highly recommend for teaching the theory.

I found this website very helpful for chemistry as well http://www.vtextbook.com. You could also buy A+ notes and checkpoints for chemistry.
