How was the paper?

Also, if someone has the paper, can they please have it scanned and uploaded onto the below thread on this board - I can start writing up answers.

Found it ridiculously easy which is surprising considering I was aiming for a raw 12

I thought the paper was quite accessible for most students. There were not any very difficult questions and there were many 'gimme' marks available. There were some relatively difficult multiple choice questions this year and the short answer section was, in my opinion, easier. Overall I think the A+ cutoff will be pretty high and you would only be able to obtain a 50 with a few marks lost maximum.
I'm currently scanning my copy of the exam so I'll send it over asap.
2014: Psychology [31~28.95]
2015:
Chemistry [37~41.23] | Biology [42~42.86] | Physics [33~35.50] | Methods [29~33.14] | English [36~34.50]
ATAR: 90.35
2016: Monash BSc
Finished VCE at 16

That was really easy, I'm certainly no A+ student so that is saying something. I say you would have to drop less than 10 marks for an A+

That's a tad disappointing that it was easy. I was honestly expecting the difficulty to be similar to last year.

Yeah, I can't describe how easy it was, and this is coming from a kid who did 3 practice exams...

Was it similar in difficulty to the 2013 exam, because that was one pretty easy too??

easier, just check the grade distributions for 2013, you could drop 18 marks and get an A+. I think you could only drop like 5-7 marks of this one

That'd be a little unrealistic; even in 2013 when the paper was reasonably easier, a 102/120 gave you an A+ yes, and I know someone who got 114.5/120 and got a 50.

I haven't seen the paper yet, but I'll be surprised if the A+ cut was above 108/120.

Then again, this (a really straightforward exam) probably means they'll crack down on worded answers/explanations..

Yeah not keen for that, but even then the worded questions were pretty straightforward. No real deep thinking required, a lot of it was almost recall
