At least springs wasn't hammered that bad this year - should have been -16J, 16J and 2.0 m/s for the spring question :3

What did everyone get for Q6d with the graph of acceleration?

It was literally almost exactly the same as last year lol

except they TOLD you that max speed in centre of oscillation. Last year you had to assume that if you didn't want to get involved with some maths and find the max of a quadratic ... like I did :P

Do you think you'll be docked a mark if you only wrote 16J for part a?

It was asking for change in GPE so I guess negative was req'd, was it a 1 marker?

Hey buddy, and I did that as well. So far all my mistakes have been dumb...

I finished with like 10 minutes to go...what did you get on the d-drop question? Also the last electronics graph, I couldn't get it very accurately. I got like 45...

i think i got 25 for the d value, can't remember exactly though

do you mean the gain for the electronics q? i got 50 i think

except they TOLD you that max speed in centre of oscillation. Last year you had to assume that if you didn't want to get involved with some maths and find the max of a quadratic ... like I did :P

ahah i thought of you when i read that, whats the point if they just give it away?

btw did you get 2m/s for that?

when is asked for the change in gravitational potential, would it matter if I didn't include the negative

i think because it said change and not increase/decrease it is just the magnitude of the change, especially since energy is a scalar

otherwise rip 50

I was confused by the wording of question 19 a.

If there was a single atom with a single electron at n=3, how could three photons be emitted?
Wouldn't it either be one photon (drops directly to n=1) or two photons (drops to n=2 then n=1)?
