There'll be no problems if I get straight into a BEconomics so I can study Principles of Microeconomics, Business and Economics Statistics, and 2 free electives (I'll most likely do some maths/statistics) in Semester 1. If I don't get straight into a BEconomics, what do you suggest I study first which requires a lower ATAR cut-off so I can transfer into a BEconomics in Semester 2?

^what the above poster said.

The BBus degree also allows students to complete a major in Economics as well, so if you successfully transfer into BEco after a semester/year, you can transfer most of your units across.
