Just wondering how long to complete a PHD at monash?

5 years? any rough estimates or people with experience?

what about for sciences..e.g. biology, psychology?

Roughly 3-4 years.
PhD @ MIT (Economics).

Interested in asset pricing, econometrics, and social choice theory.

You're given four years, but they want you to do it in three. Scholarships, for example, usually run out in three. Extensions are available depending on your circumstances, but they're cracking down on them.
[Update: full for 2018.] I give Legal lectures through CPAP, and am an author for the CPAP 'Legal Fundamentals' textbook and the Legal 3/4 Study Guide.
Available for private tutoring in English and Legal Studies.
Experience in Legal 3/4 assessing; author of Legal textbook; degrees in Law and English; VCE teaching experience in Legal Studies and English. Legal Studies [50] English [50] way back when.
