I was referring specifically to the Unit 1/2 probability like combinatorics and such. I found all the unit 3/4 probability straight forward since it was just plugging things into formulas, but the unit 1/2 stuff actually involves some degree of problem solving. Worst part is, it's assumed knowledge so you don't really find any questions on it anywhere, so you don't get to revise it in 3/4 (hence why I screwed it up in the exam).

in 1/2 methods i used to get pwned by hardworking asian kids that don't make mistakes but in probability they struggled because it wasn't as algorithmic and hence i pwned then. Proud moment in a mostly not so fun period of my life.

I can't stand discrete probability, it's just painfully boring. Also sum and product of functions just pisses me off. It's not overly difficult or anything... just frustrating to draw. Oh, and dilations confuse the shit out of me sometimes.
