Hi i was wondering where a good place to do short online courses would be? If anyone could direct me to a place. I would not mind doing a few diplomas before starting university or doing studying something in my spare time.

Edx and Coursera has tons of online courses (2-4 months) from universities all around the world. You have to pay money to get verified certificates though (could be useful if you want to gain credit for uni).

For just learning, as other people say Edx, coursera and various other options (Opencourseware, etc).

if you want an Australian recognised degree, you will need to pay cash, a fair bit of it. There are plenty of post-grad diplomas you can do online but it's relatively rare to have undergrad diplomas full stop, even moreso for them to be available on line.

If you don't need the piece of paper though, the first paragraph is fine.

Could you do those prerequisite subjects like Physiology or whatever for MD, Doctor of Optometry and that sort of thing? Would they count those?

It depends on the university, on whether they accept those courses as pre-reqs.
