I'm just curious, how's is everyone gonna feel if they don't get in?

I wanna believe that I did but like if I hype myself up, I feel like I'm just going to be disappointed if I don't get in.  :'(

Well, I'd definitely be disappointed...
I haven't really put in much thought about a negative outcome, since I can't imagine staying at my current school until year 12.
You already go to a pretty fancy school (presuming from the fact that you go to a single-sex school), so you shouldn't be THAT disappointed if you don't get in... of course, it's exciting to go to a prestigious school and all, but just be thankful that you'll continue at a nice school if you don't make it through...

Meh my school is okay, I would way prefer to move though. Definitely not 'fancy' though.

What's your plan B, if you don't make it through? Are you staying at your current school, or trying out for another school?...

You've been offered a scholarship to another school, yet you're unconfident that you'll get an offer to Mac Rob...

What are you going to do for another choice?
 :)
I'm probably doing the SEAL test later this year, for year 9 entry into one of those higher-end public schools.
I actually sat a scholarship exam at the start of the year, too, but I didn't get an offer (too many people sat the exam, and about 10 spots for year 9 entry).

Well Macrobertson is a bit different to the school from which i received the scholarship as... you know...more people trying...like more than 3000.

Actually, around more than half of that is sitting for MHS, SCHS or Nossal. It's around a 20%~ or so chance for entry.

It's better than "chance" for you guys, because you guys actually studied :)

Best of luck all! I fondly remember getting my results over the phone from my parents (back in the day it came via mail, how times have changed!) when I was in Melbourne Central coming back from school on my birthday. Was a pretty decent present.

You'll all be fine :) And even if you don't happen to get in, you can still succeed in other schools if you maintain your positive outlook and study hard :)
