Monash Commerce Scholars Scholarships!!!! Urgent for help

Hi guys,

I was just wondering in previous years when did people receive their scholarships offers for the Monash Commerce Scholars Scholarship, as I know offers were made on the day of ATARs, and also what was the lowest ATAR you know of that received it. I know it says everyone with an ATAR above 98 is eligible, but I'm just not sure if you still realistically have a chance if you didn't get a text on results day, or will the places be taken up by the 99.50s.
My ATAR is 98.90 if that helps with the estimate.
As change of preferences open up again tomorrow, I am still tossing up between Commerce at Melbourne or give the scholarship possibility a go and make Monash my first preference. $6000 is definitely a huge incentive.

In previous years, it was a whole separate course, so we only found out on the day that offers were made. This will probably still be the case, as not all the people who got offers when ATARs came out will choose to enrol in a course that makes them eligible for the scholarship; keep in mind that a lot of "the 99.50s" will be going for the prestige of Melbourne or Commerce/Law or a different double degree, so they may end up being ineligible for the program.

I have never really asked my friends in the program what their ATARs were, so I cannot say what the lowest ATAR was. I would have thought a 98.90 would have a very high chance, but now that they have changed the structure of the program and capped the number of scholarships at 40, I am not certain.

Also, I hear that it is $8000 per year now instead of $6000, plus additional benefits that have been introduced this year.
2011: Methods [44]
