was just browsing AN's about us page. Apparently AN is one of the largest student forums around in Aus. Wondered who was higher so BoS popped up. First thing i see is users online: Bangali !

Haha I think I created a mini-shitstorm on BoS once, they ended up editing or deleting most of my posts and deleting a bunch of telling threads about what went down to lead to this place being founded haha

Stop giving away my highly embarrassing secrets!  (or maybe I should deny that it's me?)

To justify myself: I spent legit three minutes this evening on there answering questions about the UTS/AN lectures and also squashing someone saying something silly about suicide

BoS is way bigger, with about ten thousand times as many posts, but it's absolutely trashy.  Can't stand it and half the members there would get instabanned if they posted such utterly insensitive and spammy stuff on AN.

I never go on BoS (unless I've very accidentally ignored an AN pm?)

Also, BoS is actually not as big amongst the high-school demographic I feel. It seems as if more of their traffic is on the university boards. That's by far where people are hanging out. I mean, their Sci boards have 110k posts, ours have 90k. They've been around twice as long. Which makes sense, because they would have a lot of uni students hanging around and stuff like that.

It's definitely a piece of shit. A lot of racism and vulgarity going on. We'll take 'em down
