Hey AspiringDoc,
I can definitely confirm the lower requirements for country kids- however I can only give advice anecdotally/based on friend's scores.
I remember a 97atar and a high 80s UMAT got into a CSP place (can't remember exact figures sorry

)
However, I know friends with an Atar of 92-93 and UMAT of high 80s that did not receive any place. There's a classmate who got a UMAT of 86, and an Atar of 95.sth, but I haven't asked her if she got in or not. They were all offered interviews though.
Unfortunately while it is significantly lower for rural, we're still fighting over around 25-30ish CSP places (i think); the govt has to provide 25% of places to rural kids.
It's really hard to tell as it can depend on so many things- like the interview, which I have no idea how to tell if you did well in or not.. It's also hard because higher interviews can pick up for lower UMATs, and Higher ATARs and UMATs can compensate for lower interviews..
I wouldn't get too caught up with percentiles (I went into the UMAT without knowing anything about these ranks or scores)- just try your best and apply literally everywhere
