It happened to me too!

Luckily I left the webpage open. I have a screenshot but AN isn't letting me attach anything :(

Yes the site certainly went down today, for a while was not sure what was going on as our server load just spiked. Felt a lot like a DDoS. Anyways it is sorted now, seemed to be a few factors involved in what happened at once (perfect storm hey) but I have jumped on and fixed them all so far.

The next issues I am working on is uploads not working and LaTeX not working. We have made some pretty big changes to the server which has had a knock on effect which is certainly making my job interesting!

Keep on posting any other issues you are having that we arnt yet aware of and can add to my ever growing list of doom!

This isn't really a big issue, and I dont know if someone's already posted this, but I used to be able to view the recent posts from the frontpage ie. from atarnotes.com, instead of scrolling down the forums page to see them.

Thanks for all your hard work!

Can you explain what you mean a bit more? :) Do you mean the 'show unread posts since last visit?' :)

Like in between the forums; atar calc; notes; members and the blog part of the homepage, there used to be a 'recent posts' and 'popular posts' section
I dont see it anymore D;

My only guess would be that Slydev disabled it to test something and then never reactivated it. I'll talk to him about it tomorrow :)

Yes sorry I disabled that functionality as it was taking up a lot of memory. Will bring it back soon now that I have optomized some things! :)

Edit: It is still a very slow function so I will have to rewrite it completely, it is on my list of things to do but might be a bit further away sorry :(
