Foundations of Law Faculty Notes

Hi there,

Just wanted to know whether it's necessary to buy the new 2016 faculty notes for FOL or if 2015 ones second-hand wouldn't be too different?

Thanks

I'm not sure how many differences there are but if there are any differences I think it's better to get the updated version, the notes are only like $15 new and are used heavily in class (you would get lost in many classes if you don't have them), so might as well get the new version in my opinion.

the faculty notes are basically a compilation of all the handouts and practice problems you would need for the unit.

Offered via Zoom or in person across Melbourne.  Message me to discuss. Very limited places available.

Just to piggyback on this thread, do you know how essential Australian Public Law is to LAW1112, assuming you've done it? I didn't find the FoL textbook super useful for most of the course (I just borrowed it from the library whenever I needed it), so do you think I'd find APL to be more of a must-have than that?

I did do public law. To be honest I'm not sure how helpful the book is because I never used or bought it. I did get an HD though using lecture slides and my own notes based on Moodle materials (cases etc.) and recycled notes from fol. I did this in Castan's stream. So I don't think the book is so necessary.
