Is it possible to write about 3 texts in one paragraph for the AOS essay?
I'm not sure how i would otherwise break it up whilst staying integrated to encompass all my ideas.
My current structure has 3 ideas and all 3 texts fit into those so if they only ask for 1 text its fine but if they ask for 2 I don't know how I'd structure that :/

Hey! You definitely can, but I imagine it would be a bit of a squeeze! Don't worry though, it is highly unlikely they ask for two related texts ;D

Really? I hope so!
Because my trial for paper 1 is tomorrow and I'm soo worried they're going to ask for 2 related texts. Even though I have 2 prepared the flow of my essay is much better without the third text

I second that! They are much more likely to ask for a second related text in Module C than Discovery - seeing as it is an exclusively Advanced module

You'd have to have a really mean school for them to specify two ORT's in their Paper 1 ;)

Hey! Sorry this got missed before your Trial, I really hope it went well!

For the future, Elyse wrote a guide that might be helpful for you! Your best bet is to memorise effective quotes/techniques, ones that have more than one single technique and ones that can be applied to different parts of the rubric in different ways. Be efficient, with lots to memorise that's essential ;D

It actually did go well! I'm so glad, I did exactly what you said here and it worked out. I'll check out the guide for sure! Thanks so much

It's allowed because it shows your perspective of the text which is a focus of module B

I'd still not recommend it - It can subtract from your academic tone, and it is you writing the essay! Your personal perspective will come across with or without using personal pronouns :)

Was told to avoid it too, it does sound less academic and subtracts from the integrity of the essay imo. It's better to clarify with your teachers but I would recommend against it in general.

Hey! You definitely can do that but you don't have to structure it that way if you don't want to

I like to put process in every paragraph, so with 3 quotes per paragraph you have one previous perspective, one discovery and one transformation or like 2 discovery and 1 transformation but this is just a suggestion.

Hey! Context is a large part of Module A, so talking about how Richard III transcends its context to become universally relevant could be a worthy discussion point! "Enduring value" is something that is more important in Module B though ;D

As Jamon said enduring value is for module B. For module A focus on how both texts portray a theme, and comment on how this is due to shifting contexts and values as well as alternate forms.
