Highly doubt I'd be able to come given I've now started, hopefully some others are keen! :)

Sloth's post about Monash meetups seriously discouraged me, but I'm up for it if enough other people join.  Not that I even remember when o-week is.

Feel free to come to Monash and meet us Cosine :P Edit: and anyone else that's willing to head out to Clayton at some point haha

Someone should make an ATARNOTES stand at oweek.. ill pay to be able to sit in a chair and look busy instead of awkwardly trying to make idle chat with other shy students  :P

Yeah I am considering coming, but just note that it is about 1.45 hours away, so we better do something there, the AN crew.. xD

Keen, but only if it's awkward. I don't deal in non-awkward encounters.

I'm down for it. I'll probably be around a bit during o-week so it would be cool to meet up with you guys.

Anyone can come...I didn't make it to the other meetup, and thought this was the perfect opportunity to meet some of you.

Sloth's post about Monash meetups seriously discouraged me, but I'm up for it if enough other people join.

What do you mean by discouraged? Like disorganised and stuff?

clayton i assume??

Yeah. You can always organise something at your campus if you want!

Just the awkwardness haha, but at least that'll keep Joseph adequately happy.

Someone has to start on organising dates though, so here's what would work for me - please post your own availabilities.  So, my close friend Google tells me O-Week is 22nd to 26th.  There's always the option of post-o-week too I guess, but I can't see us actually getting round to organising something :/

Apparently for me, a 9:00, 12:00 or 3:00-onwards time slot on Mon 22nd would be ideal (actually lol, does 'important degree specific information' actually matter? let's change it to any-time-except-1-3pm).

I'd also probably decide Thur 24th (<--- [sic], apparently nursing peoples have special mathematical powers and manage to squeeze four days of the week into three dates) was worth coming in for if there was a meetup at any time that day.

... Nursing students have degree-specific orientation over 3 days? Most degrees only have to come in one day LOL.

Also, on that, note: it's called o-week because the uni does things for the whole week, not because you do things for the whole week, so keep that in mind. :P As first years, you'll only have to come in 2 days at the most, second and third years often don't come in any days (though I wouldn't be surprised if I come in every day lol).

Anyway, if we meet up, I'm unavailable on the Monday from basically the morning until 2-2:30, but free anytime after. We might have to split this up into a couple of days, but it's probably not a bad idea for us all to go on a specific day we're all free for most of the day and just wander around the festival together. Particularly if you JAFFYs grab a trustworthy second+ year to help you guys out with it. :P (so we can probs just have Joe and pi do things)

But yeah, fairly keen for it if it happens!

Nah, I just meant that they claimed Mon was the 22nd and Thur the 24th, thus fitting in four days from 22-24.  Ignore my dodgy humour (if it can even be called humour) :P

There seems to me to be one 2-hr thingo that I actually 'need' to come in for the whole week, because I don't believe them when they label other sessions as 'important' - but hey, I'm guessing I even could miss that session without the world stopping :P (unfortunately I can already feel this being my attitude to my whole degree :/)

But yeah, Mon or Thur for me :D
