Monash Subject Choice Thread 2016

Thought it would be a good idea to bring this back again! I think it's fun to see what other people are doing. And it might actually help some people decide on units to pick this year or in future years.

My plan for this year:

Semester 1:
PHS1011 - Classical Physics and Relativity
MTH1030 - Techniques for Modelling
FIT1045 - Introduction to Algorithms and Programming
ASP2011 - Astronomy

Semester 2:
PHS1022 - Fields and Quantum Physics
MTH2010 - Multivariable Calculus
MTH2032 - Differential Equations with Modelling*
ASP2062 - Introduction to Astrophysics*

*Not too sure about these subjects yet. Doing them this year will probably help a lot but it really depends on how I go in first semester (interest-wise etc.).

Would love to read what everyone else is doing this year!

I believe the completed Arts Honours thesis should be between 15,000 and 18,000 words.
