Hi, I am new to this website but i think I'm starting to get the hang of it, I'm trying to write the introduction paragraph for my essay, so any tips would be greatly appreciated. PS I'm also stuck on a third paragraph for my essay
THANK YOU! :)

topic question: The stories in Growing up Asian in Australia explore the challenges and opportunities of migration.
compare how this is true in two collections from Pung’s anthology

introduction:
Battlers and mates are both two collections in ‘Growing up asian in Australia’ by Alice Pung about the opportunities and challenges that arise from migration to a new country. Battlers; however, includes vastly different messages and themes to those encompassed within mates making them both crucial elements in the book. While both mates and battlers discuss the idea of opportunity, mates focus is directed towards the theme of friendship as oppose to the theme of family in battlers. Both collections discuss the challenges faced by first and second generation migrants, although some are of minor influence such as  the mishaps in ‘exotic rissole’ and some significant like the story ‘spiderbait’. Both battlers and mates bring attention to the importance of forming a an identity in a new country, and it is both the idea of challenge and opportunity that is the foundation of personal identity.
