I got my first accounting sac result back and got a 44/50. just wondering if i am still be able to gain a study score of 40 in accounting

Seriously dude, its the first SAC of MANY. Please don't stress, and a 40+ is DEFINITELY achievable at this point.

thanks guys just had a few teachers and other students say that dropping a couple marks rules out a 40

Tbh I was worried as I got 45/50 as well for my first but my Acc teacher at school said it doesn't matter that much because Sacs are mostly used for ranking so you should probably care about the whole cohort instead :/ Cos if everyone got low 40s and you got 44 that's not bad at all!
And the teachers can change the SAC results by the end of the year if they see your potential to not muck up the Exams so probably shouldn't worry too much at this point :)

It really matters on your cohort performance. If you scored quite well, and are in the top of the "bell curve" (ranking), then you have a good chance even gaining a 45+ (just be consistent and try to aim for rank 1).

thanks for the advice   :)and help was a bit stressed like everyone else doing vce. Not 100% sure where im on the bell curve but i know the average for the two classes was 29 and 39. (im in the 29 class if that changes things)
