Lol, as an intense classical freak I could do Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Brahms, Dvorak and so on all day (this right now).  RainyMood is also great when I'm too emotional for music (because classical doesn't mean that meandering emotionless Mozart junk they always tell you :P).

For times I want something a little more modern (not often), I listen to Lindsey Stirling's Take Flight, Song of the Caged Bird or Transcendence (Orchestral) on 1.25 speed and on loop.
(Note: I don't usually listen from this genre, but she's an exception.)

Study music for me is electronic dance music (vocals preferred).

No matter my mood, listening to this type of music makes me happy.

Happy me = effective study!

Mozart's "emotionless meandering junk" happens to be what I play best Heidi  >:(

Nah but seriously, classical is great for study, Tchaikovsky is awesome, tbh don't like Beethoven much. Rainymood and classical at the same time is perfect :)

Ooooh. Another classical freak.

I'm a bit meh about some Mozart pieces but there are some pretty wicked Mozart pieces! Never heard Dvorak. Must google. Tchaikovsky's my go-to for study music or boredom or anything really. I <3 Tchaikovsky. Get weird looks from everyone who claim they always thought I'd be more Mozart (cuz y'know, apparently Mozart is the pinnacle of classical music  ::) ).

I second the Hotline Miami sound track - but I prefer the first Hotline Miami OST than the Hotline Miami 2 OST.
And other than the classical already mentioned, I enjoy Jake Chudnow. You might recognise his music from VSAUCE videos.

I tend to listen to whatever I'm into at the time, but quite often I'll listen to Spanish music rather than English. Spanish isn't my first language, so I can zone out of the lyrics, such that it doesn't distract me too much. +who doesn't love Shakira?
