Help with unis?

Hey guys just looking to get some advice. I'm looking to get into medicine however I don't think I will be able to achieve the required scores for undergrad entry so I am just looking to get some opinions for post grad entry. Now here's my dilemma. I am tossing up between Monash biomed, Melbourne science (maybe biomed it seas is helpful to me). So here's are the pros and cons of both:
Monash bio med
Pros- allows another option for grad med.
cons- 2 hours via public transport and no one going there I know.
Melbourne science/biomed
Pros- only 45 min via public transport and people there I know.
Cons- cuts of Monash med
So even though Monash only has one pro it's still a really big one, another option for med. so I just wanted to get some opinions on how much travel time effects your life. Opinions on how much Monash science would effect my post grad options for med. really anything else that would be helpful for me.
Thanks guys!!!!
Ps. I'm aware of the billions of threads comparing Melbourne science to Monash biomed, I just wanted to get opinions for my personal scenario.

Don't worry about scores that you can't change  because there are so many more productive things you could do

Looking for customisable high school tuition that fits your needs? Or maybe you're just looking for some help with a specific concept that doesn't require frequent tuition. You get used to the travel. I commute from the northern suburbs on a daily basis to Monash via 2 trains + a shuttle bus. It was a pain at the start but you definitely get used to it after some time. Just thought i'd address one of your cons.

I also don't think you should use 'people I know' as a pro or the opposite as a con, because you'll make plenty of new friends at uni, and chances are some of your high school friendships won't be as strong as they currently are. Choose based on what program will give you the best opportunities and success for your future career aspirations.

I don't know about the caulfield-clayton shuttle. I was referring to that shuttle from Huntingdale to Monash, since I take that on a daily basis.

... It does? Aaron is referring to the 601 shuttle, that only has two stops - Huntingdale station and the Clayton campus. This is different to the Monash run shuttle buses, which shuttle you between campuses.

For the record and to avoid confusion, most people call the 601 bus that runs between Huntingdale Station and Monash Clayton the "601" (not run by Monash, needs a valid myki and the rest of it), and the bus that runs directly between Monash Clayton and Caulfield the "shuttle" (which is run by Monash, needs a valid Monash ID). Going from Caulfield station to Monash Clayton, the times are about the same between train+601 (~20 mins) vs shuttle (15-25 mins). Personally I'd go with the train route just because trains are more frequent.

@OP, travel time is pretty shit. I've done 2 hour journeys to some hospitals which mean to get there at 7am I had to wake up around 4.30am, and I got home around 7pm. It's shit, but you learn to cope when you have to. Some people study on trains/trams/buses which saves time later, I personally don't mind a cheeky nap.

Also, I think it's far too early to rule yourself out of undergrad med before the UMAT is even sat. If you approach it with the mindset that you're going to fall short, you'll fall short every time. Have some confidence, work a bit harder, and who knows what could happen. You don't need to be a genius to get into medicine (I'm a good case in point LOL) and you don't need top scores in either the ATAR and the UMAT; you just need to do well enough and back yourself at the right times.
