Aiming for a 40 study score in Revs

I recently received a 37/50 for outcome 1 of Unit 3 France (ranked 3rd in my class). Received vhigh marks for extended response questions but didn't answer 2 2 mark questions which was what let me down. Was pretty upset with this as I personally believe this does not show my full potential. What marks do i need to get for my other three sacs this year + exam to receive a 40. Thanks

You should try your best in the SACs but not get too hung up on SAC scores.*

SACs are fairly irrelevant because they are moderated by your exam score. If you score poorly in the exam it won't matter if you've had four 50/50 SAC scores because they'll be pushed down. Likewise if your exam score is very high and your SAC scores are high 30s or low 40s, they'll be dragged up.

If you want to hit the 40s then the key is to score at least 66+ (out of 80) in the exam, preferably higher.

* Note that I don't give my students their numerical SAC scores, only 'High', 'Very High', etc. The way study scores are calculated, I don't think there's much point getting hung up on number scores because they invariably change at the end of the year.
