I guess one positive that can be taken out of this is that the Year 11's doing a 3/4 subject got to experience what a 'VCAA style' exam feels like (in terms of exam conduct etc)... perhaps even Year 12 students who didn't do a 3/4 last year as well (very few, but there's still some out there!).

WHAT'S THE ANSWER FOR THE NAPOLEON QUESTION?

I swear I'm gonna have nightmares about those four questions tonight...

i dont remember correctly, but i remember one bit where it asked for where the army's numbers got reduced the most and i said july or something, and my teacher (who is pretty good at these type of q's) said its correct. I also said for another bit that the weather was a compounding factor for the reduced numbers. Also said they lost! idk maybe im wrong completely HAHAH

bloody pentagon q wasn't that hard, but i left it until the last 3 mins and had to guess because i couldn't think properly -.-.-

I think I did absolutely shit, decided to just guess the questions where I couldn't be assed with or couldn't even comprehend. If I do need a derived score I'm absolutely fucked.

yeah i think i wrote weather was a compounding factor because on the route back, the numbers were decreased massively. i'm still not even sure then

So devastated that I didn't get to work Shannon Noll into my writing piece. The Cat in the Hat fitted in so well last year but unfortunately Shannon had to be cut because of his irrelevance to my piece. Totally devo :(

Man, I was happy to finally get something to do with history. Didn't mind that Napoleon question tbh, was one of the better ones (behind that triangle and love heart algebra stuff of course haha) I thought.
Would have loved it to be about Russia in the 20th century - one of my strong areas after doing Revs last year

Anyone else have really grumpy assessors? I'd be smiling if I got paid to come supervise kids doing an exam...

Mine sounded grumpy while talking to us as a group but they were all actually really chill. One of them even told me to have a nice day while I walked out, 10/10 service. Too bad the GAT's not on Amazon or I'd give them a killer review ::)

Compared to last year I thought it was pretty comfortable in terms of difficulty, but maybe I just got gud since then. Anyone have favourite questions? I thought the question about Picasso's interpretation of Valquez' self-insertion (69 for the curious ;)) was pretty funny just because one of the choices was 'he is the most recognisable figure in the painting'. ::)

:O what were you working out ?
That quesion you just had to compare them to others - you didn't have to work anything out or write any combinations. I just looked at the 0s and compared them which gave me an answer (which i hope is correct) - the rest of it i didnt even look at.

didnt we?? ah i thought one of them did, im probably mistaking it for another question  ::)

my fave was probably that english one with the extract of that guy who's on a date with angie and he quotes the political opinion of some guy to please angie but it goes wrong (idk why i found that amusing), and also writing task 1, in which i weaved together a nonsensical diary entry from a girl in hospital because her olfactory nerves got destroyed in an accident (is that even possible lol)
