Other than terminology and skills, there isn't a huge amount of HSC Chem that translates into the HSC. As you move into year 12, stay on top of the work as you go, do practice questions throughout your study, don't set too high expectations for yourself and basically just do the best you can. It isn't about bouncing back; it's about improving your study techniques, increase the time spent on the subject each week and paying attention in class. The curriculum is not so difficult once you've thought about it enough; there's a lot of memorisation, which isn't easy, but it isn't conceptually difficult either. You're going to be okay, just stay consistently focussed.

Is this validity, accuracy, reliability and all that practical stuff? Uh, oh, I suck at that

Also how did you study other than "cramming" and making weaknesses lists? I tried your cramming technique and it didn't really work for me

hey i know this is irrelevant but if you are going to uni, which couse do you plan on doing?
To answer your question, just do the past papers over a longer period of time say 1 paper every 2 weeks.

To be honest, I'd rather keep this information private

What do you mean by "do past papers", you need to complete all the content first then you can do past papers.

are you in year 12? if so, shouldn't your school be finished teaching the syllabus? cos we finished all the dot points 3 weeks ago...
edit: if you haven't then maybe you could study ahead of the class. What i mean is that the areas you have done do the questions related to this. Once finished the course, do the past papers under full exam conditions- no notes/technology (e.g. phones)/food

Then maybe before next term starts relax and  go learn some of the content for year 12. If you have a HSC exam soon then practice the questions under timed conditions (this goes for all assessments tasks)

For starters, I deactivated Facebook. I told people to email me or send a snapchat (cause at the time I never used it) if they needed help.

You're going to get drained. You need to figure out what ways will help YOU stay motivated to the end.

Some of the things I did:
1. the above
2. Studied with friends. We were a nice bunch that forced each other to study (although it did gradually get ineffective) so we got a lot of work done
3. Follow a set schedule
4. Don't mess up your sleeping

True, YouTube is the worst culprit... I'll definitely need to work on the sleeping aspect of it :P

Word of advice: Don't post random stuff just for the essay marking. Let the posts go up by themselves
