I understand that for a B Commerce, all students have to do Introductory Microeconomics, Introductory Macreconomics and Quantitative Methods 1. Then there are 5 units left. I just want to know if you can include 2nd year units in these 5 units. For example, is it possible for do the following in semester 1: (Introductory Microeconomics, Quantitative Methods, Finance 1, Calculus 1) and the following in semester 2: (Introductory Macroeconomics, Business Finance, Calculus 2, Linear Algebra)?

Thanks :)

as long as you meet the pre-requisites for a subject you can do it whenever, there is no particular order you need to do subjects in (as long as you meet pre-reqs). i know heaps of people who put off qm1 til second year, its just more practical to do these subjects in first year as they are often pre-requisites for later units.
