Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows what the bare minimun amount of units you can complete in a year is?

Part-time is generally 2 subjects each regular semester (so 4 subjects per year, summer semester is optional). Doing less than this means you might get flagged as not likely to finish your course within the maximum course duration (for a 3-year bachelor maximum is something like 8 years). Here is the unimelb policy: http://policy.unimelb.edu.au/MPF1004#section-3.1

But I definitely recommend speaking to some of the student support services to get help with subject planning. Also, if applicable, student equity and disability support can help with adjustments to allow course completion to be possible.

You will need to be enrolled in at least one subject a semester or have a leave of absence, otherwise the uni may withdraw you from the degree.
As mentioned above though, your degree is subject to a maximum time to complete, and yep for an undergrad degree I believe is 8 years. But they may be flexible on that 8 year time frame if you talk to them.
