Semester 2 Science Subject

Hey was wondering if anyone knows a science subject that's relatively interesting and easy to score an H1 in (I know, quite a wishful criteria). The science subject can be from any level, but has to be semester 2. I come from a biology/chemistry background, so ideally nothing maths/engineering/physics related.

Cheers

i heard GENE20002 genes and genomes is easy but not sure if it's interesting.

Thanks for the suggestions. Ah I've already done BIOL10001!

Is Genes and Genomes any good? I've heard conflicting reports about it. Some say its good and easy to get an h1, others say some of the lectures are pretty dry and its not co-ordinated well.

So here are the 5 main subjects I'm trying to decide between for my last subject:

-GENE20002: Genes and Genomes
I've heard this one's easy to get an H1, but have heard mixed reviews about it.

-PHRM20001: Pharmacology
I've heard this one is very interesting, but also quite time-consuming and quite difficult. I'm overloading this semester, so I'd prefer one that's less stressful, and easier to get an H1. If I wasn't worried about contact hours and scores, would definitely be doing this subject.

-BOTA20002: Plant Biodiversity
I've done plant subjects in the past, and although I find them kind've interesting, its not something I'm super passionate about. Granted the botany department have been great in my experience with them, and their subjects have been fair. Unsure whether the assignment in this subject isn't too time-consuming.

-PSYC:10004 MBB2:
This one's a first year subject, so was thinking it may be a bit easier. Although I have no background in psychology, and am not a huge fan of essays (I prefer tests), am a bit sceptical about this subject.

-ENVS10001 - Natural Environments
Also a first year subject. This one has no final exam which is great. But I am a bit worried about all the group work. Haven't had the greatest experiences with group projects in the past, and don't like having to rely on others to get a good result.

If anyone could talk about their experience with these 5 subjects, or any other subjects that you'd recommend in semester 2. Would be great :D

Have you considered Earth sciences, they generally fit that criteria.
Some 2nd semester ones are:

Past Climates: Ice house to Greenhouse (ERTH20003 i think?) You study ice ages and natural greenhouse events and evidence for past climates (tree rings, ice bubbles)

Dangerous Earth ERTH20030 Each week you look at a different natural disaster (e.g. volcanoes, earthquakes, floods, Tropical cyclones). Although one of the main assignments is a group project if you're not into that kind of thing.

Understanding Planet Earth ERTH10002 First year general geology. Although there's a field trip over the mid-semester break which takes up half the break, but because of the field trip there is no exam and there are fewer lectures and pracs. I think I had no lectures or pracs in the last 3 weeks of semester.

Plant Biodiversity is a really good subject, especially once you hit week 6 :) and the field trip was heaps of fun, collecting plants for the herbarium during wildflower season.

GENE20002 is easy but EXTREMELY dry and boring. Easy H1 for the taking though...
