Hi everyone,
In terms of my university courses, I am not the most decisive person on Earth as I've been thinking about it for a while and have been considering two double degrees in two pretty much completely different universities. So far, I have done some research into those courses, with the key differences with Monash offering more components of the courses, and my impression is that it is slightly more business orientated, whereas Swinburne is more orientated in the design field despite have fewer subjects choices in terms of majors.

My actual situation is that I don't quite know what I want to do just yet, and want to keep my options open. My impressions of Swinburne is that they are very "innovation" orientated, but not necessarily about being weirdly creative. They have wide industry connections which I know would be of benefit. My VTAC selections so far contains Scholarships for the particular Swinburne course, with one of the requiring >95+ and the other requiring >90+.

However, I have yet to find a scholarship offer for Monash. Monash degrees appears to be slightly more academic than the Swinburne one would like to reiterate the fact that they have more choices in terms of majors and minors in the degree, and perhaps more flexible than the Swinburne counterpart.

So I really don't know which one is really the fit for me. Or if I was to go to Swinburne or Monash, despite what I know (or at least perceive) about the courses.

(Curious if you have made your decision upon this topic yet? If not below is my input.)

I am also stuck on the exact same course at the exact same universities.. I found the major in innovation and entrepreneurship will what wins me over to Swinburne, they also seem to be very forward and open thinking about their design structure. But the dropout rate of 30% and suspected terrible culture/personality is what is also making me lean towards Monash. I think the final decision (if it has not already been made, as preferences can't be changed for a while) depends on what you really want out of the course in each category, the only reason I would choose Swinburne over Monash is the particular major in innovation and entrepreneurship that Swinburne offers. Other than that I've heard average comments from fellow friends studying the single design degree at Swinburne, and heard great things about the style of teaching and structure across both business and design at Monash.
