When do I apply for HECS HELP?

As title
It says after the census date, does it mean the uni census date?
I am currently in Year 12 and sorting out all my VTAC stuff, may I pls know if I hv to worry about the HECS HELP right now if I really needa apply for it? Im broke:(

Hello SONE!! Haven't seen you in a while. Welcome back

You don't need to sort out the HECS stuff right now! You do this when you enrol at the university (after you get your offer - so around mid January). You need a tax file number though, so make sure you apply for that as early as possible.

To get HECS, all you have to do is fill out a form (it really is that easy).. So don't worry about being broke.
