With all the hubbub on the site yesterday, I totally forgot to get this thread going! How were the Music Exams? Anyone go home and download one of the pieces (or delete one from their daily playlist)? ;D

The pieces featured in the Music 2 exam were surprisingly nice to listen to. Overall the exam questions were quite straightforward, although I did screw up the melodic dictation

Honestly i can not remember the names of any of the pieces from the music 1 exam but saying that the questions were pretty straight forward especially the last one, where they asked about how tension was achieved (never want to heard that piece again though; it was actually making me physically sick). I am a little worried that I didn't write enough and honestly i feel like the hardest part was actually organising it all into a structured response but all in all it was a decent exam with hardly any surprises (at least that's how i felt)...

Wow i'm shocked to see that the music exams have already been uploaded on the BOSTES website

Wow, that's the first time since 2009 that I've seen them specifically say that you had to include a song from your additional topic. That's annoying, I know a lot of the people at my school didn't prepare one from their additional topic. The rest of the paper looks pretty standard, apart from the melodic dictation; that could trip a few people up. Hope you smashed it!!!
