question 14 is simpsons rule,  therefore it will 2/6 in front of the brackets not 2/2  :)

Ohhh thank you! I was looking at the numbers inside, must have glanced at the Trapezoidal Rule above it, thanks for the correction guys! ;D

You did the very last question wrong, you don't want when dy/dt = 0, you want when it's derivative does

Isnt the last one about maximising the rate of growth not maximising growth? I differentiated the Rate=y.....
I got y = 100 eventually. idk please clear my confusion

I think b of question 11

All good catches (especially that last one, yikes, that's what you get for rushing); fixing all of them now! :)

Also for 14cii) you are correct in finding x as 12, however you conclude saying the minimum length of fencing is 12m, whereas you must sub this into l to find the actual length

the one where you write n=11, the geometric series goes to r^n-2, so in the sum formula its r^n-1 not r^n, n=12

Which question are we at here? If I agree I'll fix it up! ;D

Can you give me the alternative? I think its okay but I could be wrong :)

the -10 in the numerator is for 11b. I myself just did the question and i got -10/(3x-4)^2

I feel as if the difficulty in this paper begins around question 14 onwards. Does anyone else agree?

Do you think we'll lose a mark for not testing y = 100 in the last question?

For 2 marks I doubt it - probably one for differentiating and one for getting y=100 I think it will be alright

Also.. I can't see any working for Qtn 15 c (all parts) in the solutions ?? Is this just me?

For the last part, dont you need to find the time when y = 100 and sub it back into the original y, cause i got y = 100 and i did so much other shit,
