Its probably good to know what the World Bank does and the main aims of the World Bank as well as the other global organisations.
The world bank targets economic development generally by lending and providing debt relief. One of its projects include the Heavily Indebted Poor Countries Initiative where $74 billion debt relief was to 39 countries in 2013 whose debt levels were unsustainable for economic growth and development. Its main focus is on closing the poverty gap between poorer developing nations and developed countries. It has set 2 main goals of decreasing global number of people living in extreme poverty to 3% and increasing income growth to developing nations.
Any other knowledge of the world bank would be useful especially if bostes throws a question specifying the world bank but it is generally not asked.
I'd probably know the functions of 3 organisations within the world bank just in case:
-International development association provides loans with little interest for economic development
-International Finance Corporation attracts private investment to World Bank projects.
-Multilateral Insurance Guarantee Agency is responsible for risk insurance to private investors
Hope this helps
