Yeaaaah when he said "5 minutes left" I was halfway through Q7... So I mucked up that last median question, should've been greater than.

What did you guys get for the last question? The one about whether 1/e was greater or less than the median?

Greater, my reasoning was kinda over complex so I'd wait for OPs solutions to be posted

Did we have to do integration by parts for the second last question?

I answered the last question by proving the integral from 1/e to 1 was greater than 13/25, hence the median was >1/e. Would I lose marks for this?

I think I lost about 10 due to stupid mistakes. Wasn't a hard exam concept wise, I quite liked it.

Does anyone know if consequential marks apply for this exam? I know it does for Exam 2, not sure about Exam 1. I managed to misinterpret one of the probablity questions about the tagged/untagged sheep for part a) but managed to show adequate working + correct formulas for b) and c) using the incorrect value.

I did the same thing. I accidentally wrote 16/71 instead of 16/81 and didn't realise until writing time had finished.

What I did, sounds right
