Can you get scholarships from a mid semester entry?

Hi,

I'm thinking of doing a semester of Bart at UOM and if i don't like it transfering into IT at Swinburne. I currently believe i am in good stead to be eligible for the Deans scholarship at Swinburne but I was wondering if I will still be able to get it if i transfer in at the start of the year.
