The Bachelor of Medical Science is the first component of the Monash medicine vertical double degree (formally MBBS). As of 2017 the Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (MD) will replace the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Honours) MBBS. Monash is the only university in Victoria that offers a five years direct entry medicine program for school-leavers! The first two years are campus based and the final three years are hospital and community based. Hope the info helps!
