Cats wash themselves, don't require walks, don't slobber/jump all over you, know when to respect your space, and are much better judges of character (dogs just like anyone...how can you use that to your advantage??)

This is but another demonstration of the disrespect doggos have for kitties. We must be better than this.

What argument is there here? I have both cats and dogs, and both have problems.
Cats won't stop scratching and biting, and will make it obvious that they want your pet bird for supper. Also the fact that they crap everywhere without serious effort on your part and divine intervention.
Most dogs will chase any ball that falls out of your hands, also crap everywhere, but there mostly outside, and will chew through any shoes you ever leave lying around.
Personally I would say dogs because I inevitably found good ones, that are now dead, but cat people will argue the same thing.
Regardless, the first one you get is generally the one you like. No wonder dogs generally wins the argument.
