Spoiler
I know this is cheesy, hahaha
With just under 13 hours left of 2016 (at time of typing ::) ), following tradition of saying resos of past, let's see how long we can keep these resos true for! ;)

My resolutions
  • To always think of the positives, instead of the negatives
  • To learn a new language
2017-2019: Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science (Formulation Science)
2020: Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science (Honours) Read my uni journey here!

*+* NEW YEAR, NEW ME :p :p *+* (obligatory)

To start taking my academic progress seriously rather than leaving stuff until the last minute like I always do. Additionally, 2017 is going to be a biig year for me as i'll be leaving uni to pursue work in the middle of the year - so getting a job would be nice :) Hopefully I can also learn a new programming language too (to add to the collection :P)

– Go out more, meet more people, experience more
– Read more often
– Keep biking on a regular basis
– Get more involved with stuff like clubs and events at uni
– Average 90 across psych subjects (third year counts for both honours + masters entry so should probably put in some effort lol)
– Get some kind of longer term employment lol
– Do some volunteering
– Have a gud time

I used to be a little bit of a bitch too and also found it hard to be nice haha. There's so much emphasis in society for you to be 'genuine', and sometimes (well most of the time) we take it the wrong way and trust every bit of our emotions no matter how irrational and say very callous things which upon reflection we may not truly believe.

A quick fix for this is to realise everyone's at a different stage in life, and that in the larger scheme of things we don't take up such a large portion of that person's life, so we don't really deserve so much time from their life to preoccupy them with our own unhelpful actions. Better be polite and accommodating of the person's shortcomings, if you know for certain that what you find difficult with them isn't at all to the detriment of another or to themselves.

Compromise does wonders. But of course, you should never compromise at the expense of your own wellbeing. :)
